Very lately, I came
across this phrase in a newspaper which says “You affect the world by what you
browse”-by Tim Berners-Lee
Let’s give it a brief
thought, is it for real or just a hypothesis.
Nearly 15 years back
from now, we could have hardly thought of depending so much on technology than
we do now. For any sort of information, say for health to medicine, from toys
to machines, we can rely on technology. The world of IT is too huge. It has
been progressively expanding since it became the requirement. Our solution to
almost all questions can be answered by very powerful search engines. I would
rather say Google has become a pen friend of ours. Just pen down your queries and you get the answer. Give it a thought, how smartly it caters all kinds of
information you need. Just type “How to” and see how its six senses could
challenge you to beat its smartness. I wonder, a day would come when Google like
services will start cracking jokes on its own, if you ever feel crying.
What has developed
the neural network of search engines like Yahoo, Google is; we are part of it.
Our demands are changing the world. As it is said that,” Necessity is the
mother of all inventions”. Our necessities are creating the world of
opportunities for us and the folks like us.
We are the creators
and the slaves as well, of the technology on our finger tips. Today we shop online;
eat online and even attend schools online. Whenever you browsing, you are adding
a bit to what happens around you. Just think of a link browsed a million times,
it can affect the world around you.
