Since the time,
travelling long distance has always been fascinating me. Long distance trains
have been my favorite. Indian railways being one of the biggest rails network
in the world caters to numerous experiences every day. Each time you travel by
train you make new friends on the board. You interact with people of different age
groups and experiences. Once you start enjoying the ride, even those 24 hours
of journey no longer feels tiresome.
This time Mumbai to Delhi on the wheels
seemed much interesting. There was something in the air which made that 17
hours excursion engaging. May be it was that sensation I couldn’t ignore. How often
do you come across such a beautiful smile of a little strange kid? That cuteness
of a little child can make you forget about anything in the world and there are
many instances like that which are not so easy to explain on the paper.
It has always been a fun to roam in Delhi. No
matter which road I travel, I enjoy every bit of it. Every city has its own
charm and speciality. Delhi is unique in its crowd. The crowd here is a blend
of people you could think of. Delhi’s geographical location on the map has also
been a factor of maintaining long chapters in the history.
We can still
find those bungalows and 2 storey owned houses while in Delhi. It is also not
that much difficult to find a jogging park nearby for your evening walk which
is not often the case in Mumbai. You can still enjoy that sun on your roof. Not to be forgotten, the food in Delhi has its
unique taste. The sweet and chaat shops which I have always missed for those years in Mumbai.
Experiencing Delhi and Mumbai both, one comes across lots of taste of India but
after coming back to Mumbai what I miss the most and I always wanted here is
that Sun on the Roof.
