We know what is
right and what is wrong but we only tend to do what seems pleasant and
favorable to us. It's very difficult to stick to what is moral and right
because it involves sacrifices and a lot of arduous.
Vedanta says: A right decision is not made by selecting one right option
out of a set of available options but selecting one right option and cutting
all other options as well. Considering there is only one choice makes the
decision making easy. Once it comes into habit the law of inertia plays its
role. Here comes the Newton's first law of motion which means being into a
state either at rest or in motion until and unless acted upon by an external
force. Once it comes into practice it merges with sub-consciousness and rises
the level of consciousness. Here you come with ; what you got to do and what
not.
