Eat,Drink and Laugh

May be the title of this post doesn't summarize everything but the content of the posts are always universal and connected with all of us.

Net…Net...working……Networking is the fundamental impulse of growth and stability. Each and every entity of this cosmos that exists, struggle for the stability.

I have always been wondering meeting kind of people who believe being self centered and reserved would anyhow going to help them anywhere. And I reckon, they can only be the fish of a pond. One who has never dived into the ocean would never know what it means to confront the sharks and different breeds.

Often I kept on ignoring a lesson of growing the network taught by my father and it took long to leverage and reap the benefits of this investment. I don’t recommend saying ‘Hello’ to someone for a benefit but accept that universal law i.e. we influence. No matter whether you act or not, you still influence the ecosystem. An utter silence also implies a lot. May be we don’t see with our bare eyes but everything is connected and influenced by the surrounding. The same briefed in one of previous posts - http://satishkumar29.blogspot.in/2013/08/we-all-are-one.html

Let’s come to the basics now. Make friends but don’t expect much in return. You will get your share of happiness what you deserve even if you don’t ask for it. Eat with them, Drink with them and Laugh like you have always been longing for.

There have been moments when I have met complete strangers and we became friends. We have hardly met once and they are still dear to me. Few moments of interaction with a stranger can also teach you a lot. It helps you see the same view with a different perspective you have never thought of. Rest is quite imperative and not so abstruse.

Who cares where you ultimately land up? Slogan of the day is... just #Eat Drink and Laugh  ;)

Fish or the Bait

Since the time, life existed on earth; every race has been struggling for its perseverance. Survival has been the fundamental urge of a race and it has always been practicing bait on another one. Catching a fish has never been that easy and the bait tactics have always been in the fashion.

Say it the professional world or an individual’s life, at some point of time we have to exercise the bait to get the fish. It’s not against that ethics because if you don’t throw the bait then you are going to be the target fish of the pond one day.

I wouldn't say it’s immoral or against the trend because it has been one of the cause for our existence today. Man has been exercising it since Old Stone Age and it worked.

The pond is not for the light-hearted species today. It’s either Do or Die. I would suggest not mixing it with self-seeking. A selfish and stingy character always wants all the fish of the pond in his bucket. This could probably attract crocodiles too and you would never appreciate that. Don’t forget, there are other fishermen also sweating on the bank of the pond. Remember to go fishing for the survival not to get hunted by the crocodiles. :) Enjoy fishing folks.  :)

Tangible Fantasy

For the world around us, we have a personality of our own. We are known and recognized by our character and a name. Although, we have one name for the identity but we possess multiple personalities. These personalities are living in different states of mind. To say, we are at least living in two worlds but existing only in one of them at a time; the world of fantasy and the reality.

Remember how easy and possible it looks like when fantasizing and just thereafter you come out of your dream, how difficult and impossible it seems. These two worlds are always separated by the concrete walls of in-activeness and disbelief. It takes hell lot of courage to make that transformation possible from one state to another.

To fantasize is not a sin but to believe in it is what I would recommend. Believing is the God. You believe in a stone, it becomes your god. You believe in some illusionary heavenly existence that becomes your god. You believe in yourself, God resides in you.

The point behind this discussion is to believe in that world of fantasy but with that strong conviction in you. That is how you break the aforesaid walls and make that transformation tangible. Keep fantasizing J , and Keep walking like the Johnnie Walker. J

The Bitter Truth

This post being about the fantasy and would seem to be too trivial for the realistic world but couldn't skip it. The incidence and the facts of this post are totally imaginary and dreamt of and have no resemblance to any people, place or event in the real world. They are all based on the fantasy which sounds too philosophical for almost all normal individuals. This post will not be responsible for any misunderstanding cropped into somebody’s neural system and behavioral changes thereafter. Read it at your own risk.

Am I into reality or am I into a dream, Am I for real or just a part of some imagination. Too often one of my senses denies the reality around. What I see around; that all seems to be just a fiction story and wondering, is really somebody enjoying watching the show? My senses tingles me there is something fishy and hollowness in those projected imaginary vibrations. Don’t know resultant of what but often I have this fantasy of the world around me getting blown away by some disaster in the very next moment. That sounds too comic but had to point it out. Sometimes I am enjoying my ride into the skies all above like a superman and I wish I could ever do that into reality not what I just did in my dreams last night.

Can you really figure out the difference between the reality and your dream when you are actually dreaming? Are you too sure that you aren't being dreamt by those invisible cosmic vibrations right now? Try to exercise this question out while you are dreaming and see what the results are? Later, figure out its resemblance with the reality you think, you are in.

If that above said doesn't work, I would recommend to approach just near to death in your dreams. That’s not so easy but could only be an incidence of chance. It is somewhat difficult than first exercise unless somebody is really haunting you die. :) Inception picturized it very well, I must say.

We are just following the rules what we were taught. Were there really any rules when the very first event of this cosmos just began? We make the rules and then we break them one by one in a fashion. We make the laws and then we only justify them. It simply keeps on transforming from one genetic code to another. Since, as a matter of fact, nobody wants to harm his self esteem and risking being outcasted of the society. Precisely, the bitter truth of the cosmos is that nobody knows what the reality is.

Mumbai-Delhi-Mumbai

Since the time, travelling long distance has always been fascinating me. Long distance trains have been my favorite. Indian railways being one of the biggest rails network in the world caters to numerous experiences every day. Each time you travel by train you make new friends on the board. You interact with people of different age groups and experiences. Once you start enjoying the ride, even those 24 hours of journey no longer feels tiresome.

This time Mumbai to Delhi on the wheels seemed much interesting. There was something in the air which made that 17 hours excursion engaging. May be it was that sensation I couldn’t ignore. How often do you come across such a beautiful smile of a little strange kid? That cuteness of a little child can make you forget about anything in the world and there are many instances like that which are not so easy to explain on the paper.

It has always been a fun to roam in Delhi. No matter which road I travel, I enjoy every bit of it. Every city has its own charm and speciality. Delhi is unique in its crowd. The crowd here is a blend of people you could think of. Delhi’s geographical location on the map has also been a factor of maintaining long chapters in the history.

We can still find those bungalows and 2 storey owned houses while in Delhi. It is also not that much difficult to find a jogging park nearby for your evening walk which is not often the case in Mumbai. You can still enjoy that sun on your roof. Not to be forgotten, the food in Delhi has its unique taste. The sweet and chaat shops which I have always missed for those years in Mumbai. Experiencing Delhi and Mumbai both, one comes across lots of taste of India but after coming back to Mumbai what I miss the most and I always wanted here is that Sun on the Roof.

Hangover

Its Monday again….we know how much we like it … LOL :). Don’t curse Monday if your hangover this weekend is still not down. Lets begin the subject.

Dark, smoky, crowded, crazy, addicted; you know it very well where you find such ambiance. Addiction has versatile meanings world-wide. Well, it’s a different argument that what is right and what wrong. The definition of right and wrong changes when the perspective changes.

Those drunks and the junkies know their beloved obsession; can’t really comment much on that but one thing is for sure that an obsession is a requisite. Its method could vary.

There are few who are too self obsessed that they are too busy clicking their selfies and getting the hits. There are others who look around and have an inclination for a thought and that of third kind, who look around and have a tendency for an action. What you choose is of one’s self interest but an obsession should be the mandate of your inner voice.

It could take one’s considerable life time to seek that passion (that goes for this blog’s theme) but it’s never too late. Let me quote one saying by somebody-“Happiness is not having what you want but wanting what you have”. It binds us to think that what we need is just to explore what you own. It’s not bad to groove the hangover you appreciate until it goes outrageous. Enjoy your best hangover….!!!!  :)
Ohhh….I didn't say your favorite booze . :)

3 Pounds Evolution

Ever since life existed on earth in any form, This 3 pounds of brain has been the master. That is the sole controller of all evils and good. From centuries, it has gone through evolution. From Stone Age to medieval and then modern life, it has always been progressing and will continue so on.

With every new generation, we see a paradigm shift in its nature. Those thoughts and ideas few generations back never remain applicable and publishable any more. Those talks of our grandfathers seem to be quite old fashioned and outdated now. This is because the appetite to experience new and better has been the fundamental urge of human race. We are the evolutionary form of our ancestors thousands of centuries ago; called as apes. It is difficult to conceive as of now, what new forms and patterns, 3 pounds of organ will adapt but certainly it will keep on evolving.

The question to ponder is , would that evolution keep our basic ethical conduct nurtured or that is also going to take some another form. Just for the sake of example, Think of a day when homicide will be the common conduct of human nature; although it’s not indispensable as of now what we saw in Gaza. That is being one of the evil aspects of evolution. On another note, can we expect that evolution to give equal rights to every individual? To see every gender just another human being and not stereotyping any of these. Would that help to dissolve racial and color discrimination at all from this globe?

Well, whatsoever be the transformation, we are going to be both as an Actor and the Spectator of the show. The key to control that evolution lies with us. Each of us holds that much potential to control 3 pounds evolution within and outside.

The Independent personality

Happy Independence day to all.

Today, being one of the special days in the history of our nation, we celebrate our 68th Independence day.

On this date we got independence but we were still a semi-autonomous nation, called the dominion of India. Right after 26th day of 1950 India, when we got our constitution declared, India was recognized as the Republic of India. By the time we hadn't got our own constitution ready, we were still a polity under the influence of British rules.

Today, we heard our PM’s terrific speech. Beginning his speech with , “I am here not as Prime Minister but as Prime Servant of the country ”. He spoke about very basic and prevalent issues nation is facing today. We heard him speaking about the girl/boy child ratio in India. The issues of large import as compared to small export. His slogan “Come, Make in India” to balance Indian import/export statistics. He spoke about hygiene in rural India and to make at least one ideal village in a region to set it as an example for others. This all is not merely the responsibility of the govt. but the responsibility of an Individual too, he added. Here he emphasized on individual's perspective to look for his duties towards the nation. Moreover, the difference between the job and the service, we heard. We should not compromise. Zero defect and zero effect to the nature, he continued and so on.

What I want to focus here is about the individual of the nation. “We”; the common man of independent Republic of India, are independent. Are we? This is the question we need to ask from ourselves. Are we obliging to our obligations freely or is there any unethical conduct stopping us from paying our duties. Here I meant to say is our thinking, what perception do we have about ourselves and our surrounding. We need to build ourselves to build the nation, like we say, Let the charity begin from home. Our way of thinking is going to guide our acts. We need to change to make a change.

So, here we come back on the freedom. Don’t prove yourself a dominion mind like a dominion nation. Define your laws and make a republic character of yourself.

That reminded me of freedom from few lines from my blog archive. Below is the link:

The Big Click

Very lately, I came across this phrase in a newspaper which says “You affect the world by what you browse”-by Tim Berners-Lee

Let’s give it a brief thought, is it for real or just a hypothesis.

Nearly 15 years back from now, we could have hardly thought of depending so much on technology than we do now. For any sort of information, say for health to medicine, from toys to machines, we can rely on technology. The world of IT is too huge. It has been progressively expanding since it became the requirement. Our solution to almost all questions can be answered by very powerful search engines. I would rather say Google has become a pen friend of ours. Just pen down your queries and you get the answer. Give it a thought, how smartly it caters all kinds of information you need. Just type “How to” and see how its six senses could challenge you to beat its smartness. I wonder, a day would come when Google like services will start cracking jokes on its own, if you ever feel crying.

What has developed the neural network of search engines like Yahoo, Google is; we are part of it. Our demands are changing the world. As it is said that,” Necessity is the mother of all inventions”. Our necessities are creating the world of opportunities for us and the folks like us.

We are the creators and the slaves as well, of the technology on our finger tips. Today we shop online; eat online and even attend schools online. Whenever you browsing, you are adding a bit to what happens around you. Just think of a link browsed a million times, it can affect the world around you.

The skeptical of you

It is good to believe in people but not advisable to make a blind deal. Often we deal with folks for  business or self interest. It is recommended to leverage the power of reasons and facts, not to prove your-self a gullible. A very prevailing example is to own a credit card from every another bank which can lead you to pay a hefty loss instead of making profits.

Question yourself before making a deal. Search for facts and reason what you are told. Doubting where you are being excessively pampered in not a mistake but a cautious step. Dealing with credit cards and banks is just another example. In real, the count of such instances is numerous. Skepticism holds some value try to earn from it.

The Hollow Image

I am what I am. He is what he is. You are what you are but who am I and who are you? Am I the immortal soul or just the mortal body of a finite lifetime? Well, this we almost know and can feel by virtue of our culture.

When I say, I am the materialistic body I am hollow from inside. When I consider myself to be the subtle soul, I am nothing but just an image but when you start feeling the blend of these two, you are a hollow image.

I would rather like to call this image as virtual which is always invisible from my realistic eyes in the frame of time and space. Spirituality is far more of another sophisticated subject and the very idea of discussion here is the importance of this hollow image.

I can be called a Hollow Image. I am this image particle flowing in the ocean of infinite energy vibrations. More this image glitters, I am considered to be the golden bird but everything that glitters is not gold and not everyone is a jeweler to testify the carets of this glittering gold. We are an identity of our characteristics. You break this image; you are broken. Once it is shred into pieces, there is nothing behind this image you can see.

It’s up to you to figure out how you dissolve or concentrate this hollow image.

“I know all this”- the folks say. On a second thought, I would rather quote; we know everything my dear,it is just a gentle reminder. J J

Larger than Life

Its 3:30 AM and still seems quite difficult to go to sleep. Working in shifts has turned days into nights and nights into days. It is too easy to wake up till 6AM rather to wake up 6AM in the morning. It’s not insomnia but merely consequences of IT industry and it sucks in terms of shift timings. Well it’s all nonsense and rubbish to talk about this. Let’s come to point why we should be reading this post.

Still remaining couple of minutes to 4 AM, this silence of night can often take you think about you and yourself. When you know about the self of you, you are awakening.  When you are awakening, you know what to do but most of the time the self is almost sleeping. It needs some booster to keep you awaken. When you are prompted to boost up yourself, you are going to live larger than life.

So, search for your booster (Like: boost is the secret of my energy)… J J and live larger than life. J   J ...Oh!! the clock just ticked 4:05 AM...Let's try to awake in sleep.

The connecting dots...

One day a friend of mine narrated me a story of the connecting dots. It was an inspiring story of a personality who drew the big picture by connecting the significant dots of his life. This personality influenced millions and is admired by them. I am not going to mention who he was but certainly what he did. These dots were nothing but the will power. The will power which drew the picture of his destiny.
What we do today is certainly going to decide how we are going to approach the next step.

The decisions taken matter because once an action is taken, it can’t be reversed. To form a big picture the connecting dots should be in alignment. Changing one connection en route can change the shape of the picture so it is better to be in the alignment of your will power.
Will power are the dots and the decisions are the connections. The hero of this small story of my friend did what I mentioned and drew the big picture.

The bookseller

I was going through the hustling streets of Mumbai and I saw a bookseller. I wanted to buy a book. A book to keep myself busy and a reference to self-learning. And there, In a huge heap of books it was almost difficult to choose one book and it was quite confusing so I decided to go as per the bookseller's choice. Sometimes it is recommended to go for other's choice when you don't know what you should choose. Finally I was happy as I had something in my hand to kill my weekend time.

While I shopped I always wondered if the bookseller actually knew about the book. They always sell their books with a hell lot of confidence without even knowing except the name and the author of the books. They have this confidence to sell their product like they have gone through each and every paragraph of their books. No doubt they know about which books are selling like hot cakes but they know a lot of marketing.

A bookseller has hundreds of books in his collection. He would have hardly read any of his own book still he can guide his customers. It reminds me and confirmed me that:

Presenting yourself keeps more importance than what you know. An engineering student knows it well, right from his first semester exams; as passing exams is not much of a serious case of studies but more of how you wrote in exams. It's all about 'Jugad'.

Law of Inertia shaping consciousness

We know what is right and what is wrong but we only tend to do what seems pleasant and favorable to us. It's very difficult to stick to what is moral and right because it involves sacrifices and a lot of arduous.

Vedanta says: A right decision is not made by selecting one right option out of a set of available options but selecting one right option and cutting all other options as well. Considering there is only one choice makes the decision making easy. Once it comes into habit the law of inertia plays its role. Here comes the Newton's first law of motion which means being into a state either at rest or in motion until and unless acted upon by an external force. Once it comes into practice it merges with sub-consciousness and rises the level of consciousness. Here you come with ; what you got to do and what not.

The Fear Factor.....thought for an Individual

More often, I see dreams of going near to death in an earthquake. I fantasize of calamities like Tsunami going to hit the city and everything going to drown in it. May be, we all have some kind of fear factor haunting us sometime.

To talk in general, the fear takes away the joy of living. It kills the excitement of what precious things you hold. It negates the value of a great time. You can't enjoy what you have. The fear factor can infect anybody but a dose of spirituality could prove to be an antidote. The spirituality to take one towards the truth.

...Just a thought for an Individual
